day old chicken cage (also named pullet cage ,chicks cage , young chicken cage ) are choosed by more and more farmers . pullet cage breed chicks from 1 days old to 12 weeks or 16 weeks, then transfer to layer cage, finish the whole rearing layer. It is more clean and easier to manage than deep liter rearing.

The advantage of cage rearing
1. Small feeder and drinker in cage to supply Food and water
As you know day old chicken is too small to using nipple drinkers, so we prepare small capacity of feeder and drinker, 1KG feeders and 1L drinkers, after baby chick growing up to 1 week or 2 weeks, chicks could eat by feeding trough on cage, workers will move these small drinkers and feeders from cage, wash them for next time using.
2. Adjust drinking line for different age chicks
after 2 weeks chicks could use nipple drinker for drinking , the drinking pipes and nipple drinkers will rise as chicken height but it adjust only two times in the whole rearing processing.
3. Comfortable plastic mesh for day old chicken standing
Between one day old chicks and 2 weeks, BEST put plastic mesh on bottom cage mesh, it is softer and more flexible, greatly improve rate of survival, plastic mesh will be moved after 2 weeks, feet of day old chicken is much stronger yet.
